Honey x Lemon

Honey Lemon Drink.

This is pretty much a blend of my two favorite natural ingredients: honey & lemon. A very simple drink mixture but if you do drink this habitually, you're gonna even get a lot of grand advantages for your body.

Honey bees transform nectar into honey by a process of regurgitation and evaporation. They store it as a primary food source in wax honeycombs inside the beehive.
In addition to being a great natural sweetener, honey has a multitude of benefits that many people don’t know about.  Have you ever had an unrelenting sore throat? Honey has been proven to be a natural throat soother! Are you an athlete looking for a natural energy boost before the big game? Honey’s unique blend of natural sweeteners gives it the ability to provide quick energy in any circumstance. This section of the Web site will allow you to further explore these and other benefits of honey, and will also be a source for nutrition facts on this pure, natural sweetener. - 1
Even though its too much to sum up, here are some benefits from honey:

  • Natural sweetener
  • Natural energy (*honey is a source of carbohydrates, providing 17 grams per tablespoon, which makes it ideal for your working muscles since carbohydrates are the primary fuel the body uses for energy)
  • Skin care (*it moisturizes perfectly)
  • Cough suppressant (*A 2007 study by a Penn State College of Medicine research team found that honey may offer parents an effective alternative to over-the-counter cough medicine. The study found that a small dose of buckwheat honey given before bedtime provided better relief of nighttime cough and sleep difficulty in children than no treatment or dextromethorphan (DM), a cough suppressant found in many over-the-counter cold medications.)
As for me personally, where else you can find any sweet things and it has a good benefits for your body? No sugar added too, please note that one is very important (teehee).

People use lemons to make lemonade by mixing lemon juice and water. Many people also use lemon as a washing agent, because of its ability to remove stains. The scent of lemon can also repel mosquitoes, while drinking lemon juice with olive oil helps to get rid of gall stones. Lemon is well known for its medicinal power and is used in many different ways. - 2.
If I can mention these health benefits from lemon, they are good for your: indigestion, skin care, hair care, fever, dental care, burns, internal bleeding, weight loss, respiratory disorders, throat infections, high blood pressure.
Naturally i have this oily kind of face skin. Everytime i google about what mask should i use to suppress the oil amount, i can't find none of them leaving lemon behind. Because its very good to make your skin less oily and minimize the pores. Same thing goes with your hair treatment; if you have this kind of oily hair that makes you annoyed because it will go oily not so long after you feel clean about it, try lemon treatment.

I am using these two ingredients often since i bake, and combining these two into one drink probably one of my favorite drink ever!

Recipe:

1 tbsp honey
