PRIMER vs FACE SERUM vs FOUNDATION vs BB CREAM

Primer, face serum, and BB Cream are categorized as preparing products before applying foundation, or a compact powder.

Primer :
Makeup primer is one of those beauty secrets that can make a big difference in the look and wear of your makeup. It preps your skin for makeup and creates a smooth base that makeup can adhere well to. If you’ve tried a foundation that looks fantastic on a friend or a model in a magazine only to be disappointed with the results, using makeup primers can make a big difference. Even if you are happy with the foundation you are currently using, a layer of cosmetics primer underneath can bring it to a whole new level.

Face Serum :
A face serum is a clear, thick, liquid beauty product often formulated to target a specific problem. Some people use them to help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots, while others choose formulas that help prevent acne and brighten the skin.

Foundation :
Foundation is a skin coloured cosmetic applied to the face to create an even, can manage your skin colour to the complexion, to cover flaws, and, sometimes, to change the natural skintone.

BB Cream :
BB cream is all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage.

In brief, BB Cream also contains the primer, face serum, and primer. There are some BB Cream containing primer, serum and moisturizer but separate foundation. Personally, I prefer BB Cream that contains no foundation because we can use our favorite foundation in accordance with the specific colors and textures to suit our skin.
"I recommend to choose BB Cream and primer with an SPF especially if we are living in Indonesia. Besides being able to prevent black spots that are really nasty, also gives us a sense of secure feeling despite being under direct sunlight." J

My Top Beauty Products:

This thing works nicely but I don’t know why I don’t feel really attached with BB Cream so this is the only BB Cream I tried and prefer using moisturizer, primer, sunblock, etc based on my needs because I can combine all of the products from any brands that can work well at their specific products.
That is my personal opinion, you can try and figure it out by yourself what pleased if you rather using one by one preparing products or prefer BB Cream for more practical, etc. Take your time and enjoy it!

Irreplaceable!

What can i say, being a woman is so complicated. There’s thousand of products outhere to support your beauty and finding beauty product is as hideous as finding the right, can I say the right man? Because every woman has her own skin condition and issues and YES expensI’ve stuffs has no warranty to a perfect result. All we need is to try to fall, learnt from the past, moving on, and keep find the right one. Sometimes when we’re in desperate moment, expensive brand seems so tempting and so oh-perfect to try. Guess what? I already fooled and keep experimenting until now. Once again even if your friend or sister went well with some stuffs doesnt mean it will do the same way to you. Every woman having a different hormones and how they work inside our body. So let’s have a moment to contemplating this situation.

1. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser vs The Body Shop Aloe Vera Facial Foam

I bought this product because I’ve read once that Eva Mendes using this brand, and months after that they opened their first store in my city, so yeah all the excitement and the curiousity came. First i tried their facial cleanser and works well so i ended buying their products like serum, eye cream, exfoliator, toner and also shampoo. First 3 months was fine but after that my face feel so itchy. I stopped using the face cleanser and my skin face became better. I’m not saying that Kiehl’s has a terrible product, no. But somehow it didnt work for me. I still continue using other products except the face cleanser. After that i bought The Body Shop Aloe Vera Facial Foam. This product is really light and gently soft. Very good for sensitI’ve skin. I’ve been using this product more than 6 months and I can say my face skin has no problem at all even my acne rarely appear.

2. Lancome Hypnose Mascara vs Maybelline Volume Express Mascara
Bought Lancome’s mascara while accompanying my mom buying some stuff in their store. Emm, I’m sorry Lancome but for me this mascara tottaly dissapointing. One reason, this mascara is so easy to melt. Definetly not recommended for long-wear. About Maybelline, so affordable and the result really amazed me. You can wear it all day long and enjoy your lush lashes Bravo

3. L’Occitane Smoothing Gloss Repairing vs L’oreal Reflexium Expert Series

I had a period when my hair was so dull and sapless. Tried L’Occitane’s and guess what? Not working. AT ALL. Not even a minute. Thank God for L’oreal Reflexium Expert Serie. Makes my hair smoother and shine at it best. Can you believe when I’m rolling my hair, the hair roller keep sag down because my hair became super smooth and sleek. Such a magic product!

4. MAC Fluidline vs Topshop Gel Liner in Ink
Quick explanation, MAC Fluidline fuzzy real quick. For high cosmetic brand like MAC, how come this thing exists. ??? Anyone? In other side Topshop, a brand that having cosmetic line only for their additional variant product invent gel liner that longlast than cosmetic brand legend, MAC.

5. Anna Sui Lip Rouge vs Revlon Lip Butter
Anna Sui Lip Rouge has no serious problem it just Revlon Lip Butter has third of the price with the product result are not very different. In other words, Revlon’s lip butter is a good way for saving money $$$ besides, every woman has secretly addiction for having lipstick in many colours. By buying Revlon’s Lip Butter  you’re not feeling guilty because apparently, one Anna Sui Lip Rouge cost THREE Revlon Lip Butter. Well someone once said, women can never have too many lipstick. That’s what we called “bonheur”

I’m a beauty-products junkie and learnt that you have to be very patient until finding “magic product” that works well and not pricey. That’s what I say double win-win!
