The Neighbourhood - I'm Sorry...
Out with only five songs so far, this Californian five-piece has stirred a major buzz on countless music blogs since the reveal of their single "Female Robbery." Dark and sultry, their music sounds almost Lana Del Rey-esque (apparently both have the same producer) with a lot more soul and slow hip hop beats. And then there's the even better single "Sweater Weather," nobody can listen to this without getting addicted to its catchy chorus and fast-paced verses. Hooked. Completely. That will be what's left of your Neighbourhood experience.
Best played: When you've got your hoodie on. Their music's got swag. The good kind.

Two Door Cinema Club - Beacon

They're back! That familiar bright voice, those kooky guitar & bass lines, dancey synth tunes and repetitive choruses that won't stop playing in your head, almost annoyingly. But that's what we love about Two Door's music—it's so catchy and upbeat we simply couldn't resist. Sounding more refined and mature than the debut album Tourist History, this record even features brass instruments in several tracks and embraces its M83 influences. No big surprises here. If you're already a TDCC fan, you'll be happy with their sound consistency. If you aren't, we suggest you to give "Sleep Alone" and "The World Is Watching" a listen and simply fall in love with these Irish boys.
Personal pick: "Sun"
